Innovating Marketing and Management introduces the Big Game Youth Camp, brought to you by The Lilydale Outreach Workers for a Better Community (LOWBC). LOWBC is a non-profit organization founded in 2002, focusing on administering and furnishing services primarily for the betterment of the community. LOWBC initiates practices that will benefit all residents within the community. To date, LOWBC has created employment opportunities for more than 750 community residents, as well as hosted annual community events, in partnership with other community organizations. In February of 2017, the NFL Super Bowl will be hosted by the City of Houston. The Super Bowl has been in existence for 50 years and in 2017 will celebrate their 51st anniversary. While the Super Bowl is an experience within itself, there are a number of events that take place pre- Super Bowl that allow fans that cannot attend Super Bowl Sunday to interact with their favorite athletes.
LOWBC announces the Big Game Youth Camp, to be held February 4th, 2017 the Saturday before Superbowl Sunday, at the Houston Sports Park located at 12131 Kirby Drive Houston, Texas 77045. The Big Game Youth Camp is an Interactive Sports Camp/Fan Experience allowing participants the following opportunities; Simulated games, Meet and Greet with NFL players, Football sports camp, and more.
In an effort to serve the community, LOWBC has created a scholarship program to provide opportunities for under privileged youth to attend the interactive sports training camp. Youth will have the opportunity to fulfill a dream of working with NFL athletes as well as getting constructive criticism from industry professionals.
The following NFL players have already signed on to participate in the camp; Houston Texans Akeem Hunt & San Diego Chargers Damion Square and other NFL players/ alumni. Sponsors for the event include Jordan, Neuro Drinks & The Katy Texans Youth Sports Association. To register a child for the camp or apply for a scholarship visit www.biggameyouthcamp.com.
