On Friday, December 15th, 2017, Bo Porter Enterprises in partnership with the SELF Foundation presented a sold-out event, the EMPOWERED SUMMIT. The EMPOWERED SUMMIT event provided attendees a spiritual audit to help with reflection, revival, and re-energization of their spirit as they move into 2018. The EMPOWERED SUMMIT is a transformational movement that brings nine EMPOWERED speakers together to inspire the greatness in you. The EMPOWERED acronym is from Bo Porter’s best-selling book, REal Life EMPOWERED and focuses on whole person development. Bo is convinced that the greatest gift you can give someone is to help them reach the peak of their potential.

New Testament Outreach International Ministries (NOIM) hosted their first Mental Health Conference on March 18th, 2016, which catered to an audience of health care professionals and individuals interested in learning more about assisting people with mental illness. The event kicked off at 9 am and the opening ceremonies included the Texas pledge, prayer from Pastor Kendahl Phagan, and a special dance presentation. Guest speakers for the conference included Honorable Harris County Judge Maria Jackson, Honorable Harris County Judge David Mendoza, Board Certified Psychiatrist Dr. Carlin Barnes and many more. 
New Testament Outreach International Ministries (NOIM), a non-profit organization, is conducting a one of a kind Mental Health Conference focused on “Bridging the Gap” with mental health patients, communities and faith organizations. The objective of the event is to destroy barriers of communication surrounding the topic of mental illness through education about prevention, intervention, crisis and rehabilitation methods for those with mental illnesses, their families, communities and faith organizations. NOIM has compiled a group of key Mental Health experts to speak and the conference, including Vision 2 Victory founder and Affirmation Specialist Euricka Alugas.
